    Annual Catholic Campaign

The Annual Catholic Campaign is a new initiative which streamlines the Archdiocese of Brisbane appeals into one in-parish campaign. This fundraising process has become more efficient for parishes and schools, which in turn has fostered stronger support for the major areas of need in the Archdiocese.

4 major areas of need for the Church today

The Archbishop invites your support for the current major areas of need in the local Church:
Priests Foundation caring for retirement and health of priests
    Centacare supporting Catholic social services
Holy Spirit Seminary educating seminarians for our future parishes
MacKillop Fund providing education bursaries to children in critical circumstances

If you prefer to contribute a non tax-deductible donation your gift will go toward the Annual Grants Program contributing to grants for grass-roots ministry throughout the Archdiocese. For processing purposes your gifts must be made to this fund separately.

Caritas   Caritas Australia is the Catholic agency for international aid and development. The Latin word Caritas means love and compassion. Qualities that are central to our work. We help people to help themselves, regardless of race, political beliefs, gender or religion.
Catholic Mission      Catholic Mission is the official mission aid agency of the Catholic Church, continuing the mission of Jesus Christ in the world. Catholic Mission reaches out, gives life and calls all people in the world to faith, justice and love.

Compelled by the message, life and love of Jesus Christ, Catholic Mission forms Australians for mission and raise funds for mission - in Australia and around the world. This enables heroic missionaries to reach out to help children and communities in need, and provide vital training for seminarians and other young church leaders.
    Jesuit Mission

Jesuit Mission Australia is the non-profit development and relief organisation engaging the Ministries of the Jesuits and broader networks domestically and overseas. For over 60 years, we have worked to inspire social justice, support community needs  and empower through education. We promote environmental sustainability and social development in marginalised locations, most recently in Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Myanmar. We also respond to disasters, helping people in their time of greatest need. As part of the universal church, we are inspired by the gospel and the Ignatian desire to pursue a faith that does justice.

St Vincent de Paul      The St Vincent de Paul Society’s members and volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through our conferences, special works and Vinnies Centres. Members and volunteers assist people in need and do not discriminate against cultural, religious or political beliefs.
