Parishioners are welcome to join the Hurtado Jesuit community at Nudgee Cemetery for a brief service of remembrance THIS Wednesday 6 November at 12.30pm when we will remember the 16 Jesuits buried there.
There are dozens of Jesuit saints and many more named blessed, not to mention the many unofficial saints — men and women — who have lived Ignatian values in inspirational ways. We remember these Ignatian holy people in a special way on the feast of All Saints and Blessed of the Society of Jesus (Tuesday 5 November) and on Wednesday 6 November when we commemorate all the departed of the Society of Jesus.
May the Souls of all the Faithful departed, through the mercy of Christ rest in peace. Amen.
